Lethe: That huge light is coming toward us.
Mnemosyne: The war is beginning. I'm scared, Lethe.
It's all right, Mnemosyne. I'll protect you.
For our peaceful and happy future, we won't take one step away from here.
Lethe & Mnemosyne are the Desert River Senshi. Sailor Lethe is the one generally wearing green, and Mnemosyne wearing pink. They appear only in the Sailormoon manga... Sailor Lethe guards the River of the Oblivion (Forgetfulness) and, obviously, is from the planet "Lethe". Sailor Mnemosyne guards the River of Memory, and is from the planet Mnemosyne. People ask, how they can be from 2 different planets while they look so much alike ^_^ Well I now know. Their planets are sort of connected... I have the manga in English now. I'll show you later!
The Desert Rivers are found in the Zero Star of Sagittarius (the Galaxy Cauldron... Galaxia's palace is there ... this is therefore considered the Center of the Universe). Neither of them are truly evil, however, Lethe tends to act colder... They just gave in to Sailor Galaxia. Lethe seems to be the only one with an attack... "Galactica Musotis Alpastonis!"(myosotis alpestris is an alpine species of the forget-me-not flower... Seen the SailormoonR movie? ::trying to relate things:: Oh.... nevermind). Mnemosyne seems to have healing powers.
While I only have up a little info and some quotes I like here, if you want to hear their entire story go to the Tomb of the Little Known Senshi. or Desert River Senshi Shrine. Well, here are just some nice quotes of them... :) They're in order of WHEN they happened, but not an actual conversation like unless in a paragraph together like, k? Does my page make sense? Errm... sorry. Btw, when I have pictures from manga w/Japanese writing in them, hold the mouse over the image to see what it says ^_^;

Mnemosyne: Sailormoon has been hurt enough! Leave the final judgement to Galaxia-sama.

Lethe: Betraying me, Mnemosyne?
M: I only-! I just don't want a Sailor Soldier the same as me to be hurt by you.
L: Mnemosyne!
M: Lethe!! Have you forgotten?! The oath by which we decided to follow Galaxia, to achieve our own peace and happiness!? Our planets were small, and poor. It was always chaos, with never ending fights. Galaxia appeared, and death and silence came; we had no choice but to follow her. But if there is a lasting victory to the war, and Galaxia unites the galaxy, we will have our new future, surely!!
L: This time we'll have peace and happiness, Mnemosyne... But, Sailor Moon, is there a peaceful future with you? A future where there is no war? Sailor Moon, the power you carry cries for war! As long as you live, the wars will not end. From where I stand, you are the evil! Whoever wins, the future will surely be the same. I will end this war now. I just want to have peace and happiness. Together with Mnemosyne-That's all.
Usagi: If that will truly end the war, kill me. I also came here to end the war.
Mnemosyne: Please go, Sailor Moon.
Lethe: Even if we don't repair things, if you die, if you don't die; the war will not end.
